CASHIER/FOOD RUNNER – Part Time/Hourly (SJC)
What we are looking for: You are a hospitality and customer service professional. You have a desire to learn, regardless of your previous positions. Previous experience in food service and cashiering is preferred. Knowledge of restaurants and regional cuisines, as well as neat penmanship are, a plus.
You will play a key role in day-to-day operations of the menu board and POS set up. You will be responsible for cash handling, learning the food, standards of service, and utilizing time effectively. Display a positive attitude and create the experience at Heritage Barbecue as a ‘face’ for the restaurant. The experience and service are of the utmost importance to you at the restaurant.
LINE COOKS & PREP COOKS – Full & Part Time/Hourly (SJC and Oceanside Locations)
What we are looking for: You are passionate of your craft and are looking for continuous growth. You are organized and meticulous. You are respectful and humble. You are efficient and possess a sense of urgency while also being thoughtful, clean, and productive. You come in with a willingness to learn, a honing for your craft and ready to absorb techniques and skills attributable to your work. Above all, you like to cook for and with others.
You will show up on time to prep your station. Help others with their prep. Take lead of your station during service. Know everyone else’s station. Taste everything. Keep the kitchen clean and organized before, during, and after service.
